Well, we are headed off to Sydney, Cape Breton in the morning to start the big search for our new home and a new dance school. We will be back on the weekend ! Have a great week and I will get you all updated when we get back.

PROPS FOR DANCE SHOW

Well the week is coming to an end and I finally got the barn for the dance show finished. Kohl and Blake had fun dressing up and pretending they were farmers. Can't wait to see the show!

X RAYS.....

O.K. so I didn't get to bed as early as I would have liked last night...Blake decided to fall off the ladder of the bunkbeds. He seemed fine...he had all his teeth, there was no blood and his bones looked fine so I tucked him in bed. A while later he snuck out for a drink and that was when I noticed he was limping. After quite a while of playing around with him trying to get him to walk back and forth I finally realized that it needed to be looked at. We were in and out of the the emerg. in 2 hours. Blake had his first xrays taken and everything looks great. They thought that it was broke but surprised them all! He just woke up and he's not walking any better than last night, I will keep an eye on him today and if it doesn't get any better I'll take him back in. I don't think there is anything they can do for him....He got a really cool flashlight from the paramedics walking by!

*****MOVING NEWS....Nothing yet, we are waiting for the other people to finalize the financing so we can go ahead and start looking for a house for us. Looks like we will be moving to Cape Breton by the end of June. Let's just hope that their financing goes through...I believe that they are already pre approved! I will keep you updated....

Well we got some good news on our house today...we got our first offer! Cross your fingers and say a prayer that things work out for us. We will know a bit more tomorrow so I will keep you all informed. Let's just hope that Zellers will take care of us. It is all up to them on the offer.

We have a pretty busy day planned. We are getting the house cleaned for a showing this afternoon...Wish us luck! Then we are taking the kids to the movie theatre to see Shrek the third. They have been really excited to see this movie. After the movie we have a birthday party to go to for Trinity's friend Kayla then home to celebrate some more with Jay. I am cooking pork and vegetables for supper and finishing it off with Jay's favorite dessert. We are having a BBQ and small party with family and friends on the 26th.

It has been a great year of dancing. Trinity has come a long ways just since the new year. She has grown and matured into her dancing moving up 2 classes. Her teacher Jillian works really well with her. You're the best Jill! Thanks for everything...Kohl has been working hard with his dances and is very excited to finally get to show off his stuff next Friday in their dance recital. Thank you also to Tabatha for being fantastic with the kids!

We arrived at the hotel around 2:00pm. As soon as we got checked into the room we were off to the pool. I took a few pictures then realized that I had left my memory card home in the computer so a shopping trip was next on our list. We did our shopping, had supper then back to the pool we went. The kids got ready for bed and the boys stayed in the room and watched a movie and us girls went over to Jill, Candace and Sam's room to hang out and watch survivor.

This was pretty much another free day for us. A lot of moms and teachers went to Halifax shopping. We stayed behind and did some shopping around Truro. Kohl got a new life jacket for the pool. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at Swiss Chalet then headed back to the hotel. And yes, ....back to the pool. At 6:00pm we headed off to the competition. Trinity didn't compete on Friday so she got to relax and watch the dancers.

It was an early morning for everyone. We were up at 5:30am. It started with a quick breakfast then off to get hair and make up done. With the girls looking all sparkly we headed off to the competition. My parents came to watch with us. Trinity and Kayla's duo was for 8:00am. They did fantastic with winning a GOLD! We stayed and watched the lyrical section then headed out for awhile. We stopped and had lunch at Pizza Delight then back to the hotel. The kids went for a quick dip in the pool. Me,Trin, mom and Robin went back to watch the competition around 4:00pm and Matt, dad and the boys came in time for Trinity's Cabaret. The girls did a great job with this number...leaving with a SILVER! Great job everyone! We ended the night back at the hotel celebrating with a pizza party and a swim in the pool. Trinity got to hang out with the girls going from room to room having a great time. I tracked her down at 11:00pm and got everyone to bed. Sweet dreams!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY... We all slept in until 8:40am. What a great way to start off Mother's Day! We went down and had breakfast and..............you guessed it! Off to the pool for our last swim before check out. We got things packed up then headed toward home with Amherst being our first stop.
