HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATT

Matt turned 32 today...Unfortunately he didn't have the day off but we will do something for him when he gets home. How does Pizza Delight sound?

MATT'S BIRTHDAY DINNER! - Sunday

We met with Matt's parents at Swiss Chalet for a birthday dinner. Chad, Kerri and the kids came to help celebrate with us as well. Thanks for coming guys! We surprised Matt with a piece of apple pie with a candle. The staff brought it out singing Happy Birthday to him. I don't think he got to embarrassed! It was a nice visit. The kids ate their goodies for dessert and we headed back to Saint John. That was one busy weekend!

THE WORLD OF MAKE BELIEVE! - Sunday

Princess Trinity and Princess Destiny!
The 2 little princesses playing down in their Kingdom. Thanks for the fun Destiny!

VISIT WITH GRANDPARENTS - Saturday

SUPPER TIME...mmm Bacon, eggs and pancakes!

We stopped in for a LONG over due visit with my grandparents in Riverview. We had a great visit ... I think the kids tired them out. We stayed and had supper with them, the kids had some ice cream and off they went to the park with Grammie. I got the supper dishes cleaned up and played around on the computer with Grampie. I got our blog set up for them so they can get to it easy enough. Great way to keep in touch...I am sure they will appreciate it! Jay made some friends with the next door neighbors so spent some of his time outside playing football with them. After lots of hugs and kisses the night had to unfortunately come to an end....See you next time!

KOHL'S DANCE CLASS - Saturday

Kohl is really enjoying his dance classes. He is doing his second year of tap and is getting ready for the big dance recital in May. He has a fantastic dance teacher - Tabatha!

DANCE / BASKETBALL

Trinity's regular class costume...tap and jazz.

The girls are running through their tap dance...Trinity is the first on your left...

Trinity's jazz duo costume....strike a pose!

Trinity with duo partner Kayla....

Trinity working hard on her duo....

Jay taking a shot at the net...yes he does get this one in!

We were off doing our usually Thursday nights. Trinity was off to dance class. It was a pretty exciting night for them because the costumes were being handed out. They got to try them on and run through their dances. The professional dance pictures are being taken next week...I made it back in time to catch a couple shifts of Jay's game, they didn't win but they made a good come back. Matt said that they got wooped in the first shift.

JUST ANOTHER DAY

Yesterday (Wednesday) we were very adventurist and took Kohl, Blake, Olivia and Adam to the grocery store...We were there for 2 hours and the kids were excellent! After a busy morning of stocking cupboards the kids had lunch then off for their naps. We took advantage of the quiet and moved the front of the fence. It was a lot easier than expect thanks to mom and her cross idea. We had the super spikes out in seconds...Not much else went on yesterday. The kids had AWANA last night...only 2 weeks left.

LOTO 649...

WOO -HOO!
$$$$$$$$$$$No we didn't win millions.....
But Matt did check our ticket tonight and we won ........................................................................................
$140.00.
It doesn't even come close, but it will help!

DIRT...LOTS OF IT

Sorry mom!

They had a blast outside today...back in the trees where it is good and muddy, good job they all had crocs on. Very easy to clean, I don't know how well Blake's white pj bottoms will come clean but that's no big deal. Kohl got his hands a little bit muddy and his solution for wiping it off was to paint the boat with mud...nice job boys!

YESTERDAY....

8:00 AM3:00 PM

The kids really enjoyed the new deck, they spent the whole morning out there playing, having snack and I had to give them their lunch out there to. Nothing could keep Blake in the house AT ALL....(not even his bare bottom!)

JAY!...CATCH!

A small interference during our basketball game....

Hey, Jay!....Catch! You bet he was SURPRISED! He was expecting the basketball that we were playing with...

Is it really ? Yes, a Harlem Globetrotters autographed shiny ball. The one he wasn't able to get at the Globetrotters game.

*Thanks mom (nana) and LeeAnn for pulling it off!

One shot....make it count!

Jay trying to spin the ball on his finger...not much luck. Keep trying...

Wow! I wish I had a ball like that.....

Jay is not letting that ball go. I found him in bed cuddled in with it.

SWEET DREAM!

BLAKE'S BIG BO - BO

He is a little ruffed up...wasn't even a bad fall. First time down was just a little scratch, seconds later he did it again and the blood was running down his leg. I got it cleaned up and bandaged but the poor little guy babied his leg the rest of the day (3pm on...). He fell alseep in Kohl's bed watching a movie. Had some supper on the couch, then an icecream cone. When he wasn't on the couch he was in my arms. He got over it pretty quick when we got the four wheelers out...but I guess even then he wasn't walking on it. It is his first big bo-bo.
Mr. Smiley will make it all better!

DECK BUILDING - DAY 3

9:00 AM
Matt and the kids got an early start on the deck this morning while I was cleaning the house... Blake thought he was pretty cool hanging his legs down through the deck boards like dad... got cleaned up and headed off to Church.

3:00 PM Trinity and Destiny bringing over the last deck board....great team work!

Nana and Papa made a surprise visit...I hope it was to help out because we put them to work.... this was the last deck board to go down.

Dad and Matt finally got started on the railing.... WHILE...........................................

Mom and I started supper.....

A BBQ full of food...potatoes, hotdogs, ribs and chicken. With some yummy potatoe salade, cucumber and ice cream for dessert.

The kids are off quiet so we worked an assembly line to make the job quicker, Matt put the 2x4's in place, I marked the balisters, mom held them for dad to cut. The job was done in no time... It turned really cold, but lucky for us the railing is finished.... and mom and dad headed home...

8:30 PM

The upper part of the deck is finished (except for the caps)....Doesn't it look nice! Great work everyone.... Can't wait to use it tomorrow!
