So they didn't pack up the computer yesterday...great for me! I just thought I would share some pictures of our day. The packers came around 10:00am and left at 2:00pm, Jay hung out at his friends house and Trinity hung out around the neighborhood with her friends. Kohl and Blake stayed around the house with us....after a long morning/afternoon of packing we grabbed some KFC and went to the beach for a picnic. The kids had a great time at the park and swimming. We headed home for a quick change of clothes and off to the movie theatre to see Surfs up....it wasn't playing so we saw Nancy Drew. It was a good movie!

After a long night of cleaning the cupboards I am up once again blogging and cleaning while waiting for the guys to come load the boxes. Another great day of fun I'm sure!

Tomorrow is the big day for us as we start the packing process....This will be my last post for a little while (unless the hotel has a computer lol). We leave Saint John Thursday after the truck is packed. I will keep in touch... Let the fun begin!

AT THE AIRPORT

Matt's first trip on an airplane...I guess the landings were a little rough!

WELCOME HOME DAD!

Matt's flight came in a little early today, fortunately for him I got there early....the kids were so excited to see their dad and wanted to check out the airport. They were SO excited! Poor Blake though, the plane landed and pulled towards the arrival doors and stopped, he was so excited to see his daddy, he was telling the couple beside us all about it. The next thing we see is the plane moving again and Blake was yelling " Oh no, don't leave, my daddy is still on the plane!" it was so cute!!!!Minutes later Matt got off the plane and the kids ran to see him! We are glad to have him home.

Isn't it always the way (for us anyway)...just when you start hanging out and making new friends it's time to move. My friend Kim and her two children Daniel and Kara came over today for a little get together, I BBQed for lunch, the kids got to play with each other before we leave for Cape Breton and I got some really nice pictures of us all. Great memories! I will miss you guys so much! Kim, I hope your lilac bush grows and you enjoy your new plant!

O.K. so trying to have a BBQ, visiting with family and friends and keeping an eye on four kids is quite the challenge....I am exhausted! What a great day it turned out to be. The rain held off until pretty much the end then the sky opened up...The kids had a great time playing with each other. Something we should do more often. There is nothing better than family and friends getting together. I am so glad everyone could come. Thanks!

(next morning...monday) Here I am trying to get this blog finished. What a night! Those kids did not want to go to sleep. It was close to 1:00am before they fell asleep. Thank you to Blake and Kohl who slept in until 8:00am. I don't think I could have handled a 6 o'clock morning today!(lol) We are off to get Matt at the airport after lunch...Can't wait!
