HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS!
Friday, October 5th
The kids had a great Thanksgiving celebration at school on Friday. The primary grades dressed up as pilgrims and as you can see Kohl was very proud of his costume( a last minute throw together). The school provided all students with a turkey burger for lunch and the parents got to send in fruit and veggies trays to help out and I got to see first hand all the fun they had at school as I was asked to take pictures for Kohl's class. I was so impressed with Kohl's teacher for going that extra mile with this special day. She set up tables with special plates and decorations, taught them proper table manners and a thanksgiving prayer. She really put a lot of time into this day and the kids really appreciated it! Here are a few pictures of the celebration lunch...

Friday night mom, dad, Robin and Destiny came from Moncton for the weekend. It was really nice to be able to spend time with them and so much for not having any renovation projects lined up because dad wasn't long finding things to do. But thanks to his great idea we now have our garage door sealed for the winter and the garage is much warmer because of it and the rain won't be leaking in! Once that was finished the Halloween decorating began, I love it! It turned out really good but I will have to take a picture of it tomorrow but for now just take my word on it....Saturday morning I cleaned out the basement and Matt and dad took two loads of garbage to the dump and brought back a treasure for the kids....A SET OF DRUMS! Oh yes it's been pretty noisy around here but it's something they have been asking for.
A weekend of insulating the house...
Blake likes getting involved with our projects...and even Papa's!

Sunday, October 7th
It's turkey day! Spent the morning baking apple pies then got the turkey in the oven for our Thanksgiving dinner. It was soooooo good! The kids spent most of the day outside playing, dancing and street hockey.
After a lot of late nights most of us tucked in for an afternoon nap...
THANKS FOR THE VISIT
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Everything looked awesome as usual Carrie! Things here went really smooth also - I had a house full! I invited my Mom's brother and his wife as well as Dad and Heather.

Have a great week at school! See you soon.
