On a day like today
I can remember the Sun
I remember the scent of the flowers
on the gentle breeze
Excitement filled my emotions,
Anticipation consumed my thoughts, Eagerly awaiting the moment that I would pledge my love to you forever.
As we pledged ourselves to each other and placed our rings
I knew I had found my perfect mate for all my days.
As the moments have gone by we have filled all the vows, and all along never for a moment has there been a regret of my pledge to you that day knowing always the love we pledged would get us through the darkest of days.
