Player of the Game Part 2

Well the 2nd weekend in a row we had basketball tournament and after all was said and done and the boys played their 3rd game today we had another surprise. The boys played super hard the 3rd game they were playing a really strong team with all good players, Jay played the game of his life the 2nd half and honestly I would say almost won the game for the boys, they were down by 10 with only the last shift to play and Jay scored 6 while the "D" kept the other team scoreless. They tied it up after 2 free throws and a basket from J. It was truly exciting and everyone on both sides were into the game. In the end the boys lost by 3 but they played a great game, you know when all the parents from all the teams not only the 2 playing but others come up and tell you how hard they played and how good J did. He won player of the game for the second weekend in a row, I was really proud of him for playing that hard, we even hugged after the game, infront of the teams, you know he was proud of himself and emotional for that to happen. It was too bad that Carrie had to leave for work after the 2nd game because she missed a good one. We had back tommorrow afternoon for the bronze medal game, good luck guys.
