FUN FILLED WEEKEND...

Friday night after the kids hip hop class then attended a winter Bible camp that was being held at the Baptist Church at the other end of our street. This went on Friday night, Saturday afternoon and again Sunday morning. The kids had a great time doing crafts, singing songs, learning Bible stories, games and snacks. Sunday was pretty interesting, the church attendance was like 12 adults plus the seniors that were doing the Bible camp then all the kids. Sunday was the big day that they were given the big prizes of 2 big white teddy bears and 2 snowboards. Trinity was one of the kids that one a big teddy bear. She was shocked because the kids didn't do anything special to earn extra points because we talked about letting the other kids win the prizes... ( these kids don't have much and their parents don't have time for them, it was really sad to see) What I didn't realize was that she was given extra points for being so well behaved and well mannered. I guess I should have told them to not be on their best behavior. No just kidding it was really nice to hear all the complement given about the kids. They most definitely got lots of attention and Blake got spoiled rotten. It was great to see the kids have so much fun and to be a part of it!
